Day 1: We met Arnold and Miguel at the ferry terminal in Friday Harbor and shuttle the group to our starting point near the baseball fields just outside of downtown.
We cycled along quiet country roads, stopping at a Lavender Farm and then stopped for lunch in Lime Kiln State Park.
Afterwards, we cycled north past an Alpaca Farm and British Camp then stopped at Roche Harbor to learn a bit more about the Lime Kiln business. We stopped briefly at the San Juan Island Vineyard where a few people decided to end for the day and bought a few bottles of wine for our dinner. We rode the final 5 miles or so to the Tucker House Inn where we had a couple hours to relax and enjoy happy hour before dinner. That evening we dined at the one of the island's best restaurants, the Friday Harbor House, overlooking the harbor with a perfect sunset view.

Day 2 on San Juan Island - Kayaking in the morning, whale watching in the afternoon
Wednesday, Sept 7, 2016
Day 2 on San Juan Island: Breakfast was suppose to be made fresh and homemade by your innkeepers but since we had changed the plan and were trying to both kyack and whale watch we got the brown bag breakfast to go. Not so great. We shuttled to the Snug Harbor Resort on the beautiful Westside of San Juan Island. We got to the kayak rental nice and early and were on the water by 9:30.
We tasted a piece of Bull Kelp and were out on the water for a couple hours
In the afternoon we went with Captain Pete on the Odyssey for Orca watching. This was our only rain. We did see lots of Orca all around a stretch near the southern tip of the island.
